Psychedelic Medicine Task Force

GLOW is actively advocating for the creation of a state-sanctioned Psychedelic Medicine Task Force—a multidisciplinary advisory body dedicated to exploring the therapeutic potential, safety, and regulatory pathways for psychedelic-assisted treatments in Idaho. This initiative is especially urgent in light of Idaho HJR 4, a proposed 2026 constitutional amendment that would ban citizen-led initiatives related to marijuana, narcotics, and other psychoactive substances. By establishing a task force now, Idaho can make informed, science-based decisions that prioritize public health, safety, and compassionate care.
